Charles Darwin University the 23rd of March

Well today had an unusual begining I had been 24 minutes late this was because I had lost track of time while working on a piece of work for class.

Luckily my Teacher was actually pretty cool about it and allowed me to join the class without a second glance. Instantly telling me what to do once I logged onto my computer.

The class ended up on the Vimeo Web site (http://vimeo.com/) Where we talked about how to upload the videos we filmed.

After the discussion we had a guest come in named David Mackenzie. He told us about his work and how he would film the Aboriginals in their traditional land with a little help from his wife, who had been allowed in their land because she was their teacher.

After we saw one of his films, he told us how amazing it was that they had used that moment of time to work together.

It wasn't a bad day and after David had told us about how they worked together I couldn't happen but wonder how something as trivial as editing a video could bring people together.

  1. Not so sure of the relevance of the youtube clip here Zac. Interesting posts btw, I enjoy the quirky narrative.

Some links with substance in future would be good.
